In November 1998, the Task Force on School Construction Work-Based Learning and Apprenticeship Programs was created (Chapter 656, Acts of 1998).

The Task Force is to conduct a study of school construction work-based learning and apprenticeship programs. Thereafter, it will recommend ways to improve and expand such programs statewide.
