The Governor formed the Maryland Child-Care Business Partnership in October 1998 (Executive Order 01.01.1998.26). The Partnership will advise the Secretary of Human Resources on strategies and resources with which to increase the availability of child care for working families with limited incomes. The Partnership also will develop a plan for making public funds available for child-care resources.
