Member, Maryland Association of Area Agencies on Aging, 1982-92 (chair, 1989-92); National Association of Area Agencies on Aging, 1988-92 (president, 1990-92). Member, Board of Directors, Hospice of Prince George's County, 1983-97; Maryland Gerontological Association, 1995-. Delegate, White House Conference on Aging, 1995. Board of Directors, National Association of State Units on Aging, 1996. Member, Commission on Legal Problems of the Elderly, American Bar Association, 1996-.
