Coordinator of Special Projects, 1968, and Vice-President, 1969, Maryland State Conference of Branches, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). Member, Lower Eastern Camp Committee/Cooperative Area Manpower Planning System, 1975-77. Chair, New Directions for Political and Social Change, 1977; Board of Directors, Shore Up, Inc., 1978-83.
