MARYLAND SENATE


EXECUTIVE NOMINATIONS COMMITTEE

The Executive Nominations Committee was formed in January 1845. The Committee reviews and interviews gubernatorial appointees whose appointment requires Senate advice and consent. The Committee then reports its recommendations on those nominations to the Senate (Const., Art. II, secs. 10-15). The Committee consists of nineteen members (Senate Rules 18 & 22A).
